Insert the used pyrometer / optic into the corresponding adapter and fix it with the 3 locking screws. Please note
that the measuring distance from the pyrometers are measured from the front of the lens. With the scanner
are to include additionally 132 mm in the measuring distance.
Adjusting the scanning angle
The scanning angle can be adjusted within the adjustment limits:

Under the protection cap (2 allen screws, 2.5 mm) 2 screws are located which has to be untighten a little
bit until they can moved both together. If the required setting is found, the screws has to be tighten and the
protection cap to be mount.

With a movement to the upper right a smaller angle is set and with a movement to the lower left a larger angle
is set.
Scanning frequency
The scanning frequency is in a range of 0.5 . . . 2 Hz adjustable. After removing the housing top, the scanning
frequency can be set on the potentiometer inside the housing.
