After using

Switch off the appliance.
‹
Pull the plug out of the mains socket.

Remove stubborn stains from warm
‹
grill plates using a wooden spatula.
Allow the appliance to cool down and
‹
clean it as described in the section
Cleaning and care (page 27).

Cleaning and care

Before beginning work, pay attention to
the safety instructions in the Safety sec-
tion (page 19)!
■ The appliance must be cleaned after
each use.
■ Clean the appliance as soon as it has
cooled down. Waiting too long makes
cleaning unnecessarily difficult.
■ Leftovers that stick to the the grill
plates can burn into the coating if not
removed correctly

Grill plates

NOTE!
► Grill plates are not suitable for dish-
washers.
Remove the grill plates as described
‹
in the section Removing/inserting
grill plates (page 24).
Wipe the grill plates with a damp cloth
‹
or sponge and a little washing-up liq-
uid and then with a damp cloth without
washing-up liquid.

► In the case of stubborn stains, clean-
ing is easier if the grill plates are
soaked first.
Housing
Wipe the housing with a damp cloth or

sponge.

Drip tray

Remove the drip tray (16), empty it
