OPERATION
The rapeseed/canola crop dividers are constructed for permanent operation and are able to cut without any problems at a travel
speed of 5 - 6 km/h. If the crop is lying, reduce the travel speed

MAINTENENACE AND CARE
5.1
Lubrication
The knives and the knife guides must be appropriately lubricated before each deployment. For this purpose, standard heat-
resistant fats and greases can be used.
5.2
Knife Guides
The knife guides should be adjusted without play but without clamping!
A clearance at the knife points of up to 3 mm doest not negatively affect the quality of the cut.
5.3
Exchanging the Knives
If the crankshaft is loosened from head for purpose of sharpening the knives, the following must be complied with at the subse-
quent re-assembly of the rod:
The crankshaft must strictly be adjusted in a manner that either the left ort he right dead centre is reached. Only then
may the fastening screw "A" of the rubber-metal bushing be tightened. (Abb. 5)
When tightening the screw, take care that the rubber-metal bushing does not turn. Also comply with this, if the crankshaft needs
to be removed in the course of repairs at the bearing etc.
