THE CRUZER BOARD IS NOT DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE,
TRICKS, STUNTS OR AGGRESSIVE RIDING. CAUTION MUST BE USED
WITH THIS BOARD AS IT REQUIRES PRACTICE TO USE EFFECTIVELY.
THIS WILL HELP YOU TO AVOID FALLS OR COLLISIONS WHICH CAN RE-
SULT IN INJURIES TO THE RIDER OR 3RD PARTIES.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Warning – Skateboarding can be dangerous
• Choose to ride in places which allow you to improve your skills. Never ride in streets with traffic
or crowded pedestrian areas.
• Children under 8 Years old should be supervised by an adult at all times when riding the CRUZER.
• The CRUZER should not be used on a slope or hill where the rider will pick up speed that
cannot be controlled.
• Only ride as fast as you can run off the board without falling.
• Take care when stepping or jumping off the CRUZER, as the board may have built up momentum
and continue travelling forwards, which could cause injury to others or properties.
• Avoid boarding on wet, sandy, slippery or uneven surfaces.
• Always wear protective equipment: helmet, wrist, knee and elbow pads. Wearing flat-soled
shoes will also provide more control over the board.
• Do not make any modifications to the board that could impair safety.
• Check the limitation of use according to regulations of road safety.
• Obey all local traffic and scooter riding laws and regulations.
BRAKING
There are two methods to slow or stop your CRUZER:
1. TOE DRAG
Keeping your front foot forward, slowly move your back foot to the edge of the board so that
only your heel remains on the board. You will now be able to extend your toe down to contact the
ground and drag the CRUZER to a stop. Remember that board control comes by keeping your heel
in contact with the board.
