6. Operation
General Operation
Use two chains to fix the mirror ball: a lifting chain which will
hold the mirror ball and a safety chain which will hold the chain
in case the lifting chain breaks. Both chains have to hold 10
times the weight of the mirror ball and the chains for one hour
without any deformation. The safety chain must be stronger than
the lifting chain. The max. length of the safety chain must not
exceed 100 cm. Please examine the complete system regularly.
Every deformed chain or attachment must be changed
immediately.

Only use the appropriate screws and pegs and make sure
that the screws are properly connected to the installation
area.
Mount the motor directly onto the mounting surface.
Make sure there is no flammable material within a 0.5 m
radius of the device.
Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection.
Connect the device to the mains with the power plug. Do not
connect it to a dimming pack.
The installation has to be approved by an expert before the
device is taken into service.
Use the larger attachment eyelet as primary attachment,
and the smaller attachment eyelet as secondary safety
attachment.

All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
The housing, visible parts, mounting supports and the
installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing)
should not be deformed, modified or tampered with e.g. do
not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not change the
location of the connections.
