able measures against moisture, frost and heat
and also mechanical damage!
When receiving and unpacking the unit and the
supplied accessories, first check the packaging for
damage.
If damage is found which may have been caused
by dropping the system or the like:
• check the fire-extinguishing system and accesso-
ries for possible damage.
• inform the delivery company (forwarding agent)
or our customer service even if you do not find any
obvious damage to the system or its accessories.
After removing the packaging, store or install the
system according to the described installation
conditions (see section titled Installation).

Automatic FLA Compact fire-extinguishing sys-
tems are used for supplying water to stationary,
non-automatic extinguishing systems with extin-
guishing hose connecting equipment, e.g. for fire
hose reel installations as per DIN 14462.
The fire-extinguishing system FLA Compact can
be connected directly to the public water supply.
The hydraulic separation of drinking water and fire
water is ensured by the integrated break tank with
free outlet of type AB according to EN 13077 and
EN 1717.
The following standards and guidelines should be
observed during design and installation:
Make sure that the fluid to be pumped in the sys-
tem will not corrode the materials used in the sys-
tem either chemically or mechanically and that it
does not contain any abrasive or long-fibre con-
stituents.
