Important annotations for DMX operation:
• To operate the system in normal scanner mode it is essential to switch channel 25 to
DMX value 100% or 255
• To operate the bench effects channel 25 must be switched to 0
• To switch the benach effects it is always necessary to switch the color and the effects the
same time. It is not sufficient to just select the effect!
Example: White Shot Beams:
Channel 10 -> 255; Channel 11 -> 255; Channel 12 -> 255; Channel 31 -> variable
example: Red, Rotating Grating Effect:
Channel 10 -> 255; Channel 26 -> variable; Channel 28 -> variable

Failure/Malfunction
Tarm Beamtable cannot be
switched on.
Tarm Beamtable runs in
CW (continuous-beam)
mode at less than full po-
wer or switches off during
operation.
The laser source modula-
tes, but the safety shutter
fails to open.
The laser source fails to
modulate and the safety
shutter fails to open.

Possible Cause(s)
No line voltage
Line-voltage fuse
blown
Interlock disabled
Key switch switched
off.
Air intake clogged
Air vent clogged
Ambient temperature is
too high
The emitted scan pat-
tern is too small or the
scan rate is too low
No voltage supply to
the laser or scanner
Corrective Measure(s)
Check the connection to the line vol-
tage.
Replace one, or both, line fuses
Connect the interlock connector. Con-
nect the connector from the emergency-
shutoff switch and unlock the emergen-
cy stop.
Turn the key clockwise to the horizontal
position.
Clean the air intake.
Clean the cooling fins on the heatsink.
Clean the air vent
Move the laserray to a cooler location or
provide a source of cool air.
Increase the dimensions of the emitted
scan pattern. Increase the scan rate.
Check the line-voltage fuse
