In questo caso, oltre all'operatività appena vista, è possibile
selezionare le zone desiderate (l'accensione del relativo led
verde ne conferma la selezione) e premere il pulsante P.T.T
per l'invio del messaggio.
Qualora si volesse far in modo che il pulsante P.T.T si comporti
come un tasto a ritenuta, sarà necessario cambiare la modalità
di funzionamento come indicato nel Cap. 4, punto (10).
Alla pressione del tasto P.T.T il led BUSY lampeggerà per
qualche istante ad indicare l'emissione del segnale di
preavviso (din-don); attendere il termine del lampeggìo prima
di effettuare l'annuncio per non sovrapporre la voce al tono
di preavviso.
In condizione di riposo dell'unità, l'accensione fissa del led
giallo BUSY segnalerà l'invio di annunci di carattere generale
da parte di altre postazioni 'Broadcast'; nel caso fossero
presenti anche le espansioni, queste visualizzerebbero le zone
occupate tramite l'accensione dei relativi led verdi.
L'accensione del led rosso ALARM, in contemporanea al led
BUSY, indica che il sistema è in stato d'allarme (per es. sono
in corso messaggi d'emergenza pre-registrati attivati da
contatti in ingresso); anche in questo caso, se fossero
presenti le espansioni, i led rossi riporterebbero le indicazioni
sulle zone interessate dall'allarme.
NOTA BENE: in questa modalità di funzionamento, per
tutta la durata dell'annuncio tutti i test vengono
interrotti, per essere immediatamente ripresi al
termine dell'annuncio stesso.

Azzeramento degli allarmi in corso
In qualunque momento, per azzerare gli allarmi in corso
determinati sia dalla console che da sorgenti esterne (ad es.
dalla centralina antincendio), sarà sufficiente portare la chiave
in posizione RESET ALARM.
3.6
Visualizzazione dei guasti
Il sistema tiene in memoria la traccia degli ultimi 100 guasti
rilevati. Per poter accedere alla visualizzazione dei guasti, è
necessario che la chiave sia in posizione 'OFF': premendo il
tasto [3] sulla tastiera, apparirà sul display il numero
progressivo dell'ultimo guasto rilevato, con ora e data.

In this case, in addition to the operational possibilities illustrated
above, it is also possible to select the required zones (the relevant
green LED will light up to confirm selection) and then to press the
P.T.T push button to send the message.
If the P.T.T button is required to act as a retaining button, it will
be necessary to change the operating mode, as indicated in
Section 4, point (10).
On pressing the P.T.T button, the BUSY LED will flash for a few
moments to indicate that the warning signal (chime) is being
broadcast. Wait until the flashing ceases before making the
announcement, so as to avoid superimposing your voice over
the warning tone.
When the unit is idle, the yellow BUSY LED will light up steadily
to signal that announcements of a general nature are being
sent out by other 'Broadcast' stations. If there are any
expansions, these will also show which zones have been seized
by causing the relevant green LEDs to light up. If the red
ALARM LED lights up at the same time as the BUSY LED, this
indicates that the system is in an alarm status (e.g. pre-
recorded messages activated by input contacts are being sent
out). Again in this case, if there are any expansions, the red
LEDs will indicate the zones affected by the alarm.
N.B.: In this operating mode, all the tests are stopped
for the whole duration of the announcement, and will
be resumed immediately after the end of the
announcement.
3.5
Resetting current alarms
To reset any alarms in progress activated either via the console
or by external sources (e.g. the fire-fighting control unit), it
will be sufficient at any time to move the key to the RESET
ALARM position.
3.6
Displaying faults
The system stores records of the last 100 faults detected. In
order to access the fault log display, it is necessary for the key
to be in the 'OFF' position. Press key [3] on the keypad. The
progressive number of the last fault detected will be shown on
the display together with the date and time it occurred.
To access the type of fault, it is necessary to press the key
once. The display will show the type of fault.
Use the
