FUNZIONAMENTO
3.1
Accensione
Una volta collegata la console PMB130B-V ad un impianto
VES completamente funzionante ed alimentato (*), con chiave
disinserita od in posizione 'OFF', sul display apparirà il
messaggio:
1 = Call
3 = Faults trace
si accenderano il led verde REMOTE POWER - ad indicare che
l'alimentazione proviene dal PMS2000 - ed il led verde SYSTEM
AVAILABLE - che conferma la corretta comunicazione tra la
console ed il sistema VES.
(*) per l'installazione, la configurazione e la messa in opera di
un impianto, riferirsi alla documentazione relativa.
3.2
Chiave di sicurezza
La posizione della chiave SECURITY KEY definisce la modalità
di funzionamento dell'unità:
- OFF (o chiave disinserita)
seleziona la postazione per la diffusione dei messaggi viva voce
in modalità 'Broadcast' ed annulla lo stato di 'emergenza' della
postazione.
- ON
seleziona il funzionamento in modalità 'Emergenza' con la
possibilità d'inviare messaggi d'emergenza pre-registrati o viva
voce a zone selezionate (con PMB139-V) od in chiamata
generale.
- RESET ALARM
Annulla tutti gli allarmi in corso, compresi quelli richiamati da
sorgenti esterne.
3.3
Emissione di messaggi d'emergenza
Portare la chiave in posizione 'ON'. Sul diplay apparirà il
messaggio:

3.3.1 Messaggi pre-registrati
• PMB130-V senza espansione
Se non vi è nessuna espansione connessa alla console sarà
possibile inviare, a tutte le zone, messaggi di allerta o
d'evacuazione tramite i tasti ALERT [11], EVAC [10]. L'avvenuta
emissione del relativo messaggio da parte del sistema PMS2000
verrà confermata dal sistema stesso tramite l'accensione del
relativo led rosso posizionato sopra ciascun pulsante.
• PMB130-V con espansione PMB139-V
Qualora vi fossero una o più espansioni, sarà possibile
selezionare la/e zona/e nelle quali si vogliono inviare i messaggi
d'emergenza.
Per selezionare una singola zona tramite l'espansione sarà
sufficiente premere il pulsante relativo: a conferma
dell'avvenuta selezione, si accenderà il relativo led verde posto
in prossimità del pulsante.
Una volta eseguita questa selezione, ad esempio per inviare
un messaggio di allerta, basterà quindi premere il pulsante
ALERT. Si spegneranno i led verdi di preselezione e le zone
interessate verranno evidenziate tramite l'accensione
intermittente dei led rossi.
A conferma dell'avvenuta emissione del messaggio, si
accenderanno sulla console i led rossi ALERT ON ed ALARM.
Allo stesso modo, per inviare un messaggio d'evacuazione,
dopo la selezione delle zone sarà sufficiente premere il pulsante
EVAC. Si spegneranno i led verdi di preselezione e le zone
interessate verranno evidenziate tramite l'accensione in modo
fisso dei led rossi.
3.
OPERATION
3.1
Switching on
Once the PMB130B-V Console has been connected to a
fully operational and powered VES system (*), with the key
excluded or in the 'OFF' position, the following message will
appear on the display:
The green REMOTE POWER LED will light up to indicate that
power is being received from the PMS2000 and the green
SYSTEM AVAILABLE LED will also light up to confirm correct
communications between the console and the VES system.
(*) for the installation, configuration and set up of a system,
refer to the relevant documentation.
3.2
Security key
The position of the SECURITY KEY defines the operating mode
of the unit:
- OFF (or key excluded)
Selects the station for broadcasting live messages in the
'Broadcast' mode and resets the 'emergency' status of the
station.
- ON
Selects operation in the 'Emergency' mode with the
possibility of sending out pre-recorded or live emergency
messages to selected zones (with the PMB139-V) or in the
All Call mode.
- RESET ALARM
Resets all the current alarms, including those called up from
external sources.
3.3
Sending out emergency messages
Move the key to the 'ON' position. The following message will
appear on the display:
3.3.1 Pre-recorded messages
• PMB130-V without expansion
If there is no expansion connected to the console, it will be
possible to send alert or evacuation messages to all the zones
by means of the ALERT button [11] or EVAC button [10].
The fact that the message has been sent out by the PMS2000
system will be confirmed by the system itself by illuminating
the red LED positioned above each button.
• PMB130-V with PMB139-V Expansion
If there are one or more expansions, it will be possible to
select the zone(s) to which the emergency messages are to
be sent.
To select a single zone by means of the expansion module it
will be sufficient to press the relevant push button. The
appropriate green LED near the button will light up to confirm
selection.
Once the selection has been made, e.g. to send an alert
message, it will then be sufficient to press the ALERT button.
The green pre-selection LEDs will extinguish and the areas
concerned will be highlighted by the red LEDs switching on
intermittently.
The red ALERT ON and ALARM LEDs on the console will light
up to confirm that the message has been sent out.
Similarly, to send an evacuation message, after selecting the
zones it will be sufficient to press the EVAC push button. The
green pre-selection LEDs will extinguish and the areas
concerned will be highlighted by the red LEDs lighting up
steadily.
