Intended use
The ultrasonic level sensor is designed to measure the fill
level of liquid media from the exterior through the wall of
plastic containers.
The sensor with the flexible measuring diaphragm is fixed
to the container bottom with screws or clamps. The flexible
diaphragm ensures easy assembly and disassembly
without using an additional coupling medium or adhesive
bonding.
The sensor does not come into contact with the medium
to be measured. As a result, measurements of difficult-to-
access liquids (high pressure, temperatures, corrosion,
toxicity) or special hygienic requirements (food, medical
or pharmaceutical applications) can be performed.

General safety notes
Installation and startup may only be performed by
trained specialists.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that local safety
regulations are observed. In particular, the operator must
take steps to ensure that a defect in the level sensor will
not result in hazards to persons or equipment.
The sensor is not universally applicable. Before using it in
series, the sensor must be tested under real conditions for
faultless operation in its special configuration.
If defects and unresolvable faults occur in the level sensor,
it should be taken out of service and secured against
unauthorized use.
