Please note the following safety
notes to avoid malfunctions, dam-
age or physical injury:
 Keep the thermometer out of reach of
children or persons in need of supervi-
sion. The unit is not a toy.
 Be careful when handling the measuring
probe of thermometer. The probe is very
spiky.
 Keep this measuring probe clean at all
times as it comes into direct contact with
food.
 Do not immerse the unit in liquids and do
not allow water to enter the key pad and
display. Do not use the key pad with wet
hands.
 Do not expose the unit to strong vibra-
tions or high levels of humidity and avoid
strong mechanical stresses.
 Always store the unit in a dry place.
 Do not disassemble, burn, or short-
circuit batteries and do not attempt to
