d. Make sure the tube will not be damaged by any sharp objects or
components.
WARNING: A loose or dangling tube can create a tripping hazard. Secure
the tube to prosthesis in a permanent manner.

MAINTENANCE

The following components of the device are considered wear parts. They
may need cleaning or replacement.
• Tube
• Outlet Port
• Duckbill valves
Disassembly
Remove the tube, outlet port and inlet port to access the duckbill valves.
Reassembly
Assembly in reverse order.
NOTICE: The duckbill valves must be oriented correctly (Fig. 6) for
correct function.
Torque tighten outlet port and inlet port to 4 Nm (Fig. 6).
CLEANING
Clean the components with mild soap or isopropyl alcohol and rinse with
water. DO NOT use solvents stronger than isopropyl alcohol as it might
degrade the material or get through the valve and into the socket.
