2. Go to the Game Controllers panel in the Windows Control
Panel. (Click on the "Start" button, select "Settings" then
"Control Panel" and then double click on the "Game
Controllers" icon).
3. On the "General" page, remove any game controllers listed
by highlighting them and clicking on "Remove". When the list
is empty, Click on "Add", then scroll down the list that appears
and highlight "ACT LABS GS", and then click "OK". You may
now calibrate and test your ACT LABS GS by clicking on the
"Properties" button to bring up the ACT LABS GS driver
control applet.

With the gun you wish to calibrate selected, press the Calibrate
button. Follow the instructions on-screen.
The calibration system not only calibrates for the video
hardware and screen resolution/refresh rate - it also calibrates
for the user! If the calibration seems off, simply repeat the
procedure. Repeat the calibration procedure for each gun in
every resolution/refresh rate combination you will use in
games. You only need to calibrate once for each combination
unless the hardware changes.
Note: Some games may have their calibration screens designed
to work with the ACT LABS GS.

With the Handheld Unit connected, click on the "Handheld"
tab. Click on the "calibration" button to enter the calibration
screen. Follow the directions on-screen. Calibration is necessary
to use the handheld in both normal and mouse-emulation
mode. Once you have calibrated the handheld unit, there is no
need to do it again unless your hardware changes.
