before installing the machine on the ceiling.
- Choose where to install the machine according to the
layout of the room, the number of units to be installed and
any limitations imposed by the architecture. Check that it is
possible in the position chosen to remove the panels of the
suspended ceiling sufficiently for the installation and main-
tenance of the machine.
- Install four M8 threaded rods into the ceiling to hold the
frame.
- Lift the machine by the brackets and hold it slightly inclined
while fixing it to the four threaded rods using eight nuts, four of
which are self-locking. Tighten the nuts to regulate the height,
check in conclusion that the machine is installed horizontally.
- Feed the hydraulic pipes through the suspended ceiling to
the attachment plate on the unit;
- Make the plumbing connections as described in the relative
chapter.
- Bring the condensate drainage pipe to the respective fitting
on the attachment plate;
- Make the condensate drainage connection as described in
the relative chapter.
- Lead the electrical power and command cables to the elec-
trical box as described in the relative chapter;
- Choose the three fan speeds suited to the system from the
four available.
- Lead the connection cables to the respective terminals and
make all the connections as indicated in the wiring dia-
grams;
If it is necessary to fit any kit (electrical resistors, fresh air kit
or delivery to an adjacent room) it is necessary to remove
the polystyrene cabinet from the unit, fit the kits and refit
the cabinet on the unit as follows:

MAINTENANCE

- Ordinary maintenance is reduced to periodically cleaning
the air filter, it will therefore be necessary to extract it from
the unit and then refit it after vacuum cleaning.
In cases where it is necessary to access the unit, cut off elec-
trical power.
- It is sufficient to remove the grille and the conveyor to
access the fan and the motor.
- To dismantle the FCA or FCA-R fan coils, remove the GLA
or GLA-R, the conveyor and the polystyrene cabinet. For
the FCA-R, the electrical box must also be removed.
- To bleed the air from the battery, turn the screw on the

DISMANTLING
- Only for FCA-R: remove the electronic card box from the
cabinet by undoing the two screws (fig. 10B).
- Dismantle the conveyor (2 for the tracked versions) (fig. 11)
on the cabinet by undoing the 4 self-threading screws (8 for
the twin versions) that fix it to the polystyrene structure.
- Undo the four cabinet fixing screws ;
ASSEMBLY
For FCA-R only: If you intend to connect an electrical control
panel, check that the positions of the Dip Switches inside the
panel correspond to the system's needs, otherwise modify the
setting as indicated in the instructions attached to the control
panel.
- Bleed the air from the batteries (fig. 14-15) before fitting the
condensate basin.
- Place the cabinet on the unit, being careful to align it
correctly with the attachment place as shown in fig. 16;
apply the four square edges (8 for the twin versions) in their
housing in the cabinet and screw the screws of the battery
brackets on them (fig. 16).
CAUTION!! tighten the screws with maximum tightening
torque of 0.45 Nm, you are advised to use a screwdriver, do
not use non calibrated electric screwdrivers. The basin will
be damaged irreparably if tightened up too tight.
- Mount the conveyor (2 for the twin versions) on the cabinet.
- For FCA-R only: re-fit the electronic card box inside the
chassis with the two screws removed before (fig. 17).
- For FCA-R only: wire the electronic card connectors (GLA-R
grill receiver, air sensor, motor and valves and the heater
and water sensor accessories, if present) (fig. 19).
bleed nipple and keep it open until water comes out, then
close it (the single versions with four tubes and twin ver-
sions with two tubes have two bleed pipes, the twin ver-
sions with four tubes have four bleed pipes).
- To drain the battery it is necessary to get inside the unit by
removing the chassis. isolate the fan coil from the hydrau-
lic circuit and open the drain valve and bleed nipple by
undoing the screws (the single versions with four tubes and
twin versions with two tubes have two bleed pipes and two
drain valves, the twin versions with four tubes have four
bleed pipes and two drain valves).
