facing down, the video image on the monitor will be mirrored
or turned upside down. See chapter "Adjust Image Orienta-
tion".
4. Tighten the license plate and the camera with the bolts. The
wedge shaped spacers will angle the camera a little bit down.
5. Run the power cable of the camera through the vehicle's body
and connect the cable with the reverse light circuit.
6. Some vehicles may already have an opening near the licence
plate in order to run through the wiring. If this opening is not
provided, you will have to drill a hole close to the license plate
and the cable of the camera. Once you have chosen and
marked the drilling hole, remove the camera.
If you can use an existing opening, the next two steps
can be skipped.
7. Before drilling a hole into the body, check the rear side of the
drilling spot. Make sure no vehicle components, such as
electrical parts, fuel system components or wirings are behind
the drilling spot. Take necessary precautions in order not to
damage the components.
8. Drill the hole and insert the supplied cable grommet. The
grommet serves as edge protection and protects the cable
from being cut by the sharp drilling edges.
9. Mount the transmitter box (3) inside the trunk and connect the
3-pin power cable of the camera to the transmitter box. Finally
connect the 2-pin cable (6) to the transmitter box.
