1. INTRODUCTION

NETfon 200 and NETfon 400 telephone sets are multifunctional
digital IP telephones, they guarantee all the services traditionally
offered by the Seltatel system, they use Voice over IP technology
which allow to transmit voice over IP network, opening towards new
ways of working: for instance the tele-working.
With NETfon, tele-workers (from home or a branch office) are able to
access the services offered by the Seltatel system as if they were in
the same physical location. Besides, without installing a peripheral
Seltatel system, it is possible to directly install the NETFon
telephones to the pre-existent LAN sharing the same LAN connection
of the PC.
New communication backgrounds accessible with NETfon, have the
indisputable
communication.
The most significant characteristics of the telephones are: connection
to the LAN network through dedicated Ethernet interface, a large
alphanumeric
programmable keys with multicolour led, amplified listening, hands
free, programmable keys for the immediate execution of customized
functions, menu programming keys, wall mounting possibility,
Ethernet interface to connect a PC to LAN.
