moistened with luke-warm water. Do not use benzene,
thinner or alcohol, they may mar the finish of the
surface.

POSSIBlE CAUSE
Power supply cord is not correctly
conected with the main unit.
Power supply cord is not plugged into
an AC outlet.
the wrong input source is selected.
the input source fails to connect with
the tV.
Volume is set to minimum.
the MUtE button on the remote
control is pressed.
An incorrect sound system mode is
set.
the disc is incorrectly inserted.
Fingerprints or dust on the disc.
Obstacles placed between remote
control and unit.
Remote control outside control range.
Batteries in remote control are flat.
Interfering equipment is nearby the
player.
Dirt and scratches on the disc.

CORRECtIVE ACtIOn
Connect the power supply cord
with the main unit.
Plug the power supply cord into
an AC outlet.
Select the correct input source.
Check the connections.
turn up the volume by pressing
VOl +.
Press MUtE on the remote
control.
Set a correct sound system from
the main menu to match your tV.
Check the disc is properly
inserted.
Clean the disc.
Remove obstacles between
remote control and unit.
Aim remote control at the sensor
on the front panel.
Check batteries and replace them
if necessary.
Keep any kind of interfering
devices away from the player.
