5. Please place the pot on the water container with the b dot on the pot located

above the „ " symbol, and then turn tight in the direction of „ ".
Please ensure that the disc fi lter and sealing ring are inserted.
6. Close the lid.
7. Place the device fl ush on the base.
8. Electrical Connection
• Check whether the mains voltage supply that you intend to use is the same
as that of the kettle. For information on the voltage supply of the kettle,
please see the identifi cation plate on the base.
• Unwind the mains lead completely on the base section (11), ensuring that
the lead is not tangled up.
• Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz safety
socket.
• Make sure that the appliance is switched off. (The light in the switch (9) is
off).
9. Switch the device on with the ON switch. The control lamp in the switch lights
up.
10. The water begins to boil. After boiling the machine switches off automatically
and the control lamp goes off. To pour out the coffee please remove the entire
machine from the base. Then remove the mains plug.
• Always pull out the plug from the socket before cleaning!
• Wait until the machine has cooled down completely before you start to clean it.
• Each time you have used the machine clean the entire fi lter insert and the
pot in soapy water. The sealing ring and the disc fi lter can be removed; lift the
sealing ring with a blunt object, ensuring that it is not damaged. Please only
rinse out the water container with hot water.
•
Please do not immerse any other parts of the machine in water.
• Should the holes in the fi lters be blocked they should be cleaned with a fi ne
soft brush or a needle.
• The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly
damp cloth without additives.
