(1) The nominal voltage indicated on the cable or extension cord
must be at least equal to the nominal operating voltage of
the appliance�
(2) The electrical extension must be an earthing cable with 3
wires�
(3) Position the long electrical cable so that it does not hang
over the edge of a table or counter, because a child could pull
on it or someone could trip over it unintentionally�

Cleaning

Make sure that you have disconnected the appliance from the
electrical power supply�
1� After use, clean the internal compartment of the oven with a
slightly dampened cloth�
2� Clean the accessories in the usual way with soapy water�
3� The door frame, the joint and the adjacent parts must be

cleaned carefully with a damp cloth when they are dirty�
4� Do not use abrasive maintenance products or hard metal
scrapers to clean the glass of the oven door, because this
would scratch the surface of the glass, which can break it�
5� Cleaning advice - to facilitate the cleaning of the walls of the
internal compartment that may come in contact with cooked
foods: Put half a lemon in a bowl, add 300 ml (1/2 pint) of
water and turn the oven on at full microwave power for 10
minutes� Wipe the oven with a soft dry cloth�

Precautions to take when using utensils

Risk of physical harm
• For safety reasons, any maintenance or repair operation
requiring a part to be disassembled that protects against
microwave energy must be carried out by a suitably qualified
professional�
• Refer to the instructions in the tables "Materials that you can
use in a microwave oven" and "Materials that you must not
use in a microwave oven"� Certain non-metallic utensils should
not be used in microwave ovens� In case of doubt, test the
container as described below:
Testing a container:
1� Fill a microwave compatible container with 1 glass of cold
water (250 ml) and place the utensil to be tested there�
2� Heat at maximum power for 1 minute�
3� Carefully touch the container to be tested� If this empty
container is hot, you cannot use it for microwave cooking�
4� Do not heat for more than 1 minute�
