Card status: shows the status of the headend's cards
• V : the card is present and works correctly
• E : the card is present and does not work correctly (card faulty)
• B: card under updating
• - : card missing
Enable DHCP: enable/disable the DHCP, this function automatically assigns the IP address
from the network.
From the menus, such as Show IP, Show Netmask, Show Gateway, Show DNS and Web Ser-
ver Port, you can see the headend set parameters.
By default, the network parameters are as follows:
IP: 192168.0.2
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS: 8.8.8.8
Web Server Port: 80
ATTENTION: After a default reset of the headend, the values will be those set by the factory.
From the following menus, such as Set IP, Set Netmask, Set Gateway and Set DNS, you can
set the new network parameters.
Mac Address: for displaying the address that identifies the specific device.
Shows Time & Date: for displaying time and date set in the headend. From the other menus,
you can set the parameters of the headend's timer such as year, month, day, hour, minutes.
Enables monitoring: for enabling/disabling the monitoring of the various headend parameters
either locally or remotely by the LAN port as well as receiving signalization by email if there are
anomalies that are detected by the CONTROLLER HOST included in the control unit.
Therefore, a range of values can be set in each module; these values allow the user to check
the correct operation of the headend and they signalize anomalies, if any (i.e. a temporary loss
of quality of the input signal).
Monitoring time: for setting the frequency (in minutes) of the monitoring of set parameters.
Read Account: for reading an email address where the alarm/anomaly message will be sent.
Send Test e-mail: for sending a test email to check the correct operation of monitoring
Email Historical: for memorizing the number of alarm emails that have been sent.
Empty Historical: for emptying the "Email Historical" memory
The 2 following menus display information relevant to the address and the firmware version
of the headend.
Language: for setting the language in which the menus will be displayed
Copy: for copying the module configuration into another one
Reset: for resetting each module of the headend including the control unit. Select the option
"all modules" if you want the headend to perform a general reset.
