Adjusting the display and setting indicator

It is possible to set the contrast of the display from "CONTRAST', the brightness of the display from "BACK
LIGHT" and the lighting condition of the CD key indicator on the main unit from "LIGHT SET".

Select a setting item.

Press the mode key to get the setting
mode. Then, repeatedly press the 4 or
¢ key to select "DISPLAY SET", and
press the enter/demo key.

Repeatedly press the 4 or ¢ key to se-
lect the setting item, and press the enter/
demo key.

Each time the 4 or ¢ key is pressed, the display
switches as follows.
1 "CONTRAST"
Select to adjust the contrast of the
display.
2 "BACK LIGHT"
Select to set the brightness of the
display.
3 "LIGHT SET"
Select to set the indicator of the CD
key indicator.
When "CONTRAST" has been selected
Pressing the ¢ key darkens the display, whereas
pressing the 4 key lightens it.
When "BACK LIGHT" has been selected
Select between "BACK LIGHT HIGH" (brighter) and
"BACK LIGHT LOW" (darker).
When "LIGHT SET" has been selected
Select between "ON" and "OFF". When "ON" is se-
lected, the CD key indicator slowly flashes during CD
playback. When "OFF" is selected, the CD key
indicator lights solidly.
This CD key indicator flashes or lights solidly.
