Installations Settings
. Enter the new password on the line marked "New PIN",
using the number keys on the remote control.
. For confirmation enter the new password again on the line
marked "Confirm". Confirm by pressing OK key (Fig. 4/0).
Channel Lock (Child Protection)
You may secure programs that require a password for access.
1. You will be prompted to enter your password. Enter the
current password using the number keys (Fig. 4/) on the
remote control. Confirm by pressing OK key (Fig. 4/0).
. In the channel lock menu "channel lock" choose the pro-
grams you would like to secure using the direction keys
(lock).
Press the OK, to secure the choosen.

4. Press the SETUP key (Fig. 4/1), to exit the menu.
Any time you want to access the program, you will be
prompted to enter the password.
Note:
To reverse the channel lock repeat the above steps.
Time Setting
Time Zone
Select the time zone for your location. This is synchronized
via the broadcast signal to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). The
current time is automatically set according to your selection.
Europe mainly:
Normal time = GMT+1
Daylight saving time = GMT+
Sleep
Set the sleep timer to turn the device automatically off
(standby mode).
System Info
Display information such as software version etc.
Auto Scan
Select this scan to search for programs in the receiver's entire
frequency reception area.
1. Select the country using the direction keys (Fig. 4/7).
. Select the run command "Press ENTER".
. Confirm with OK (Fig. 4/0). The channel scan is auto-
matically conducted and may take several minutes.
Note:
You may also activate the automatic scan by pressing the
SEARCH key (Fig. 4/11).
