- Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep
them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions may
result in an accident.
- Clean all the parts of the product that will be in contact with food, as indicated
in the cleaning section, before use.

Safety advice and warnings

- This appliance can be used by people
unused to its handling, disabled people
or children aged from 8 years and
above if they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and unders-
tand the hazards involved.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cable out
of reach of children under the age of
eight.
- This appliance is not a toy. Children
should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
- The temperature of the accessi-
ble surfaces may be high when the
appliance is in use.
- Do not use the appliance in associa-
tion with a programmer, timer or other
device that automatically switches it on.
Only use the appliance with the specific
electric connector provided.

- Remove the electrical connector befo-
re starting any cleaning operation.
- Never submerge the connector in wa-
ter or any other liquid or place it under
running water.
- Dry the product immediately after any
cleaning operation and ensure that
the base of the product's connector is
perfectly dry.
- If the connection is damaged it must
be replaced. Take the appliance to
an authorised Technical Assistance
Service. Do not try to dismantle or
repair without assistance, as this may
be dangerous.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage
before plugging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket provided land
withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
- Do not allow the connection cable to come into contact with the appliance's
hot surfaces.
- Check the condition of the electrical connection cable. Damaged or tangled
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
- The appliance's plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the
plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
- Do not force the electrical wire. Never use the electric wire to lift up, carry or
unplug the appliance.
- This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
Use and care:
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before underta-
king any cleaning task.
- This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled.
- Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
- Turn the thermostat control to the minimum (MIN) setting. This does not mean
that the iron is switched off permanently.
Service:
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee
and the manufacturer's liability null and void.
Instructions for use
Before use:
- Before using the product for the first time, clean the non-slip plate with a soft
cloth dampened with water.
Connect the plug to your electrical socket and set the temperature selector to
the desired position.
Set the thermostat to the desired temperature. The pilot light will come on,
indicating that the appliance is in the process of heating up.
Wait until the pilot has gone out, indicating that the appliance has reached the
ideal temperature.
Work with the food you want to process.
Carefully place the food to be roasted on the grill.
When the food is cooked to your taste, remove it from the appliance using a
wooden spatula or similar utensil.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
- Select the minimum position (MIN) using the thermostat control.
Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool before undertaking
