STARTING WATER SOFTENER OPERATION

When the water softener has been properly set up, as described above, it can start softening water.
OPEN THE MAINS WATER SUPPLY TAP
DRAIN THE AIR FROM THE SYSTEM BY OPENING A TAP SLOWLY (in the bathroom, for example).

close the mains water supply until corrective action has been taken.

ADJUSTING THE MIXING

A brass screw is provided on the front of the head for fine adjustment of the residual water hardness (hardness of
water delivered by the water softener).
It is not recommended that your system water be softened to 0°F.
It is important to obtain a TH value close to, but not below, 10°F.
To adjust water hardness, unscrew (anti-clockwise) the knob to increase the TH value. It is recommended that this
adjustment be set in several steps. The more accurate the setting, the more effective and controlled the treatment.
