3. Topping up the oil
The hoist must be set up on an even surface. With the cylinder lowered completely, remove the lid from the filler neck. If
the oil level is more than 1 cm (1/2") below the edge, the oil must be topped up.
4. Changing the oil
The oil should be changed at least once a year. To drain the oil, remove the lid on the filler neck and open the drainage
valve. Be very careful and ensure that no dirt or other foreign body enters into the system.
5. Greasing
Oil the lift arm spindle every 3 months and fill oil into the grease nipple on the base frame.
6. Protecting from rust
Every 3 months or as soon as rust or signs of corrosion are visible, clean the piston rod and the pressure cylinder using a
oil-soaked cloth. If the hoist is not in use it should be stored in such a way that the contact surface and the pressure
cylinder are in the lowest position.

Hoist cannot be raised completely
Bad lift force
No lift, the load is not raised at all

Solution
1. Bleed the hydraulic system*
2. Remove load and clean the valve
1. Top up to the recommended level
2. Release valve is stuck
1. Bleed the hydraulic system*
2. Change oil, use SAE 5 W
1. Reduce the load or use a hoist with a
greater load-carrying capacity
2. Top up to the recommended level
