CAUTION:
1. Do NOT use the lashing straps for towing vehicles or to secure or lift people.
2. DO NOT use extension levers, pliers or tools to operate the ratchet. Only operate manually.
3. Protect the strap from sharp edges, heat and acids. Worn, torn or damaged straps must be replaced. Check straps,
hooks and fittings for damage etc. before each use.
Product characteristic and description
This vehicle hoist is designed to be used for small repairs, oil changes, cleaning and other similar tasks.

Maintenance

Important: Before carrying out maintenance work on the lower section of the vehicle hoist ALWAYS remove it from the
chassis frame and place it on an even surface.
1. Bleeding
With the cylinder pulled back fully, remove the lid from the oil-filler neck. Insert the foot lever into the receptacle on the
hydraulic cylinder and pump 6 to 8 times. This expels any pressured air left in the reservoir. Ensure that oil is filled up to
directly below the edge of the filler neck. Replace the lid. During dispatch and handling of the hoist, it may be that air is
introduced into the hydraulic system which will reduce or even negate the effectiveness of the system.
2. Oil levels
Important: When topping up or replacing the oil ALWAYS use a high-quality oil suitable for hydraulic hoists. NEVER use
brake fluid, alcohol, glycerine, cleaning motor oil or an oil that is soiled in any other way. The wrong kind of oil can cause
serious damage to the hoist.
