available:
For the following special types of shot, certain settings cannot be
changed (e.g. flash and macro) as they are preset for the type of
shot.

Meaning
The camera detects the picture con-
ditions and automatically switches to
the appropriate shooting mode. For
further details, see "12.1. Using the
adjusted scene mode" on page 244.
The camera automatically selects ap-
propriate picture settings, for exam-
ple, exposure time and aperture val-
ues.
Reduces background focus and fo-
cuses on the centre.
Suitable for wide landscape views.
Emphasises the colour red when tak-
ing sunsets.
Adjusts the "Metering" setting to the
backlight.
Suitable for capturing people in mo-
tion.
Suitable for portrait shots with a dark
background.
