The device is switched on. After the end of the toasting process, the bread and the
lowering lever are raised and the device switches itself off.
5. Remove the bread carefully from the toasting slot. As you do this, do not touch
the hot metal surfaces in the area of the toasting slots! There is a danger of
burns!
6. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket when you are not using the toaster.

Cancelling the Toasting Process

Press the CANCEL button to cancel the toasting process prematurely. The bread is
raised.

Toasting Frozen Bread

You do not need to change the level of toasting to toast frozen bread. Simply press
the DEFROST button once the lowering lever has engaged. The toasting process is
extended.

Warming Up Bread

If you want to reheat bread which has already cooled down, press the REHEAT button
as soon as the lowering lever has engaged.

Toasting Bread Rolls

CAUTION!
❐ Beware of the build-up of heat! Never place the bread rolls directly on the toasting
slots. Use the bread roll attachment only for toasting bread rolls, do not place any
slices of bread or objects on the bread roll attachment.
1. Place the bread roll attachment onto the toasting slots.
2. Place no more than two bread rolls on the bread roll attachment.
3. Select a medium toasting level and then press down the lowering lever. After the
toaster has been switched off or if the desired level of browning has been reached
on the bottom of the bread rolls, turn over the bread rolls and repeat the toasting
process.

Cleaning and Care

CAUTION!
❐ Never immerse the devices, mains cables or plugs in water or other liquids.
❐ Do not use any corrosive, abrasive or poisonous cleaning agents. Do not spray
cleaning agents directly onto the devices. Do not use metal objects.
❐ Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the devices.
❐ The crumb tray and the bread roll attachment of the toaster are not dishwasher-safe.
❐ Allow the devices to cool down before cleaning them.
