Setup
• This battery charger can charge up to 16 pieces 1.2V round cell batteries AA or AAA, as well as
2 pieces 9V/8.4V block batteries at the same time. The battery compartments can be
occupied as required. Observe the technical data for the suitable batteries.
Only use batteries with this product. Non-rechargeable batteries should not be used
with this product.
AA and AAA batteries cannot be concomitantly charged in a battery compartment.
• Place the battery charger on a horizontal, clean and heat-resistant surface. Remove any
protective films from the product.
• Connect the round plug of the power adapter to the connection socket (1). Insert the mains
plug into a mains socket.
• Place up to 16 pieces 1.2V batteries in the round cell charging slots (3).
• Insert up to 2 pieces 9V/8.4V block batteries into the block battery charging slots (4).
• The charging status of the individual batteries is indicated on the LC display as follows:

• Disconnect the product from the power supply when not in use.
Trickle current and charging time limit
• After the battery is fully charged, it will be charged with power pulses to maintain the fully
charged state. This mode starts automatically after the batteries are fully charged if it remains
in the charging slot.
• The charger has a charging time limit and turns off automatically after 8 hours.
Care and cleaning
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the housing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
• Never open/disassemble the product as it has no parts to be serviced.
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Do not press too hard on the housing, as
this can lead to scratch marks.
• Dust can be easily removed using a soft and clean long-haired brush.

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted rechargeable batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) Rechargeable batteries
You are required by law to return all used batteries. They must not be placed in
household waste.
Rechargeable batteries that contain hazardous substances are labelled with this
symbol to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The abbreviations
for heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name
on rechargeable batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores or battery retailers.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
