7. Storage

Store in a dry place and not in
places where the ladder might
age prematurely (e.g. due to
moisture, heat, weather condi-
tions).
Store the ladder in such a way
that it remains straight (e.g.
suspended from the bars on a
ladder holder or placed on a flat,
clean surface).
Do not store in areas where
there is a risk of damage, e.g.
from vehicles, heavy objects or
dirt.
8. Duration of use
With intended use and regu-
lar maintenance, the ladder will
remain a serviceable piece of
equipment for a long time.
Leave in areas where there is
no danger of tripping or obstruc-
tion.
Store so that it is secured
against unauthorised use
Wooden ladders should be
stored in a dry place and must
not be painted with opaque or
vapour-proof paints.
