Check that the lock remains in
the horizontal position, that rear
rails and corner braces are not
missing and are not bent, loose,
corroded or damaged.
Check that rung hooks are not
missing, damaged, loose or cor-
roded and can be properly hook-
ed onto the rungs.
Check that guide brackets are
not missing, damaged, loose or
corroded and that it reaches pro-
perly onto the bar.
Check that ladder feet/foot
caps are not missing and are not
loose, heavily worn, corroded or
damaged.
Translation of the original instruction
Check that the whole ladder is
free of contamination (e.g. dirt,
paint, oil or grease).
Check that the locking latches
(if present) are not damaged or
corroded and are working pro-
perly.
Check that no platform parts
or fastenings (if any) are mis-
sing and that the platform is not
damaged or corroded.
If there is an unsatisfacto-
ry result for any of the above
checks, the ladder must NOT
be used.
