Compact headend for the reception and distribution of 6 free-to-air digital satellite channels. Output
channels can be in VHF band or UHF band. Stereo version is also available (model SIG9506S).
The compact headend includes 6 digital receivers, 6 A/V modulators (mono modulator for SIG9506;
stereo modulator for SIG9506S), 6-way combiner with existing TV signal mixing, power supply and
programming unit. A/V outputs are available to connect optional modulators. Each receiver can sup-
ply 14/18V, KHz and DiSEqC 1.0 tone (programmable). Multiswitches and universal LNB's can be
connected directly to the headend without additional products. The headend is suitable for small and
medium networks.
The installation of the product must be carried out by qualified personnel and in accordance with
the local safety regulations and law in force. The product is a Class II, according to the EN 60065
standard; therefore, it must never be connected to the protective grounding of the supply network (PE
– Protective Earthing).

Use only the supplied network cable and install the product so that the supply plug can be easily
reached.
•
The product must not be exposed to drippings or splashing; no objects filled with liquids, such as
vases, shall be placed on the product.
•
Leave a space of at least a 5 cm around the product to ensure ventilation. Excessive temperature
and/or excessive heating can affect the product operation and duration.
•
The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as
newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
•
Never install the product close to a heating source or in dusty areas or where it might come into
contact with corrosive substances.
•
To prevent injures, this product must be securely attached to the wall or on the floor in accordance
with the assembling instructions on page 15.
In accordance with the European Directive 004/108/EC (EMC), the product shall be installed using
devices, cables and connectors that allow to comply with this directive requirements for fixed
installations.
Grounding of the antenna installation
The product must be connected to the ground electrode of the antenna installation according to EN50083-
1 standard, paragraph 10. The predisposed screw is marked by the symbol
the EN 50083-1 standard provisions are followed that the screw is not connected to the protective
grounding of the supply electrical network.
IMPORTANT: Never remove the cover - the parts under tension may be exposed. Only qualified and
authorized personnel can open the product. In the event of a failure, never try to repair the product;
otherwise, the guarantee will no longer be valid.
