Problem
My smartphone
does not charge
when placed onto
the charging pad.
The beard styler
does not trim as
well as it used to.
The beard styler
stopped working.
Possible cause
The smartphone is
not placed
correctly onto the
charging pad.
The wall socket
into which you
have inserted the
adapter is not live.
The smartphone is
not compatible
with Qi charging.
Hairs or dirt
obstruct the cutting
element.
The trimming
element needs to
be lubricated.
The beard styler is
damaged or worn.
Solution
Place the smartphone onto
the charging platform of
the charging pad. When
placed correctly, the
charging pad will make a
sound and the charging
indicator on the charging
pad starts flashing white.
Verify whether there is a
power failure and if the
wall socket to which you
connect the charging plate
is live. If you use a wall
socket in a bathroom
cabinet, you may need to
switch on the light to
activate the socket.
Your smartphone might
not be compatible with Qi
charging; contact
smartphone's
manufacturer or retailer.
Clean the beard styler (see
'Cleaning the click-on
beard styler').
Lubricate the teeth of the
beard styler attachment
with a drop of sewing
machine oil.
Replace the beard styler
attachment.
