Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock, or serious personal injury:
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Always use the product on a fl at, stable, heat-resistant surface.
• The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high when the appliance is operating.
Make sure not to touch these hot parts of the appliance.
WARNING: This electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfaces, also diff erent than the WARNING:

manufacturer.
• Do not use the product near water or other liquids.
• Do not place or drop the product into water or other liquids. If the product falls into water,
immediately unplug it from the electrical outlet.

• Never operate this product if it has a damaged Power Cord or Plug, is not working properly, has
been dropped, damaged, or exposed to water or other liquids.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similarly qualifi ed person in order to avoid a hazard
