Sw itch action
CAUTION:
Before installing the battery car-
tridge into the tool, al w ays check to see that the
s w itch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the " OFF " position w hen released.
CAUTION:
S w itch can be locked in " ON " posi-
tion for ease of operator comfort during extended
use. Apply caution w hen locking tool in " ON "
position and maintain firm grasp on tool.
CAUTION:
Do not install the battery cartridge
w ith the lock button engaged.
CAUTION:
W hen not operating the tool,
depress the trigger-lock button from
lock the s w itch trigger in the OFF position.

To prevent the switch trigger from accidentally pulled, the
trigger-lo c k button is pro v i d e d . T o start t h e tool, d epress
the trigger-lock button from A (
trigger. Tool speed is increased by increasing pressure on
t h e s w it c h trigger. R elease t h e s w it c h trigger to stop. A f ter
use, depress the trigger-lock button from B ( ) side.
F or c ontinuous operation, d epress th e loc k button w h ile
pulling th e sw itc h trigger, and th en release th e sw itc h trigger.
To stop the tool, pull the switch trigger fully, then release it.

The rotating speed can be changed by turning the
speed adjusting dial to a given number setting from
5 . H ig h er spee d is obtaine d w h en t h e d ial is turne d in

NOTICE:
If the tool is operated continuously
at lo w speeds for a long time, the motor w ill get
overloaded, resulting in tool malfunction.
NOTICE:
The speed adjusting dial can be turned
only as far as 5 and back to 1. Do not force it past
5 or 1, or the speed adjusting function may no
longer w ork.

Al w ays turn the knob fully. If the knob
is in the middle position, you cannot turn on the
tool.

Finishing mode
In the finishing mode, you can operate the tool without
applying excessive load. This mode is suitable for fin-
is h ing operation.
To use the tool in the finishing mode, pull the switch
trigger an d release it to turn on t h e tool, an d t h en press
t h e mo d e s w it c h ing button. T h e lamp lig h ts up in green.
T o return to t h e normal mo d e, press t h e mo d e s w it c h ing
button w h ile t h e tool is turne d on.

Accidental restart preventive

If you install the battery cartridge while pulling the
s w it c h trigger or lo c king t h e s w it c h trigger, t h e tool d oes
not start. T o start t h e tool, release t h e s w it c h trigger, an d
