Always unplug before cleaning.

Never use abrasives.

Never put anything other than water
into the water tank.

To make your iron last longer, do this
once or twice a month.
1 Set the variable steam control to dry
.
2 Fill the water tank to 'max'
3 Stand the iron upright and plug in.
4 Turn the temperature control to
'max' .
5 When the light goes out, unplug.
6 Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
7 Set the variable steam knob to 'self
clean' and remove the variable
steam knob assembly
steam emit for 30 seconds to clean
out any limescale or impurities.
8 Replace the variable steam knob
assembly and set the knob to 'dry'.
Plug in.
9 When the light goes out, iron an old
cloth till the soleplate's dry.
10 Unplug and empty any water out.
Wait until the soleplate's cool and
dry before storing.
11 If the variable steam knob assembly
is heavily coated, soak it in white
vinegar for around 4 hours which
should dissolve the limescale and
impurities, rinse and dry and then
replace the assembly.
If only the tip is fouled, clean it by
gently scrubbing with a steel wool
soap pad moistened in warm water,
then rinse, dry and replace.

Clean with a rough cloth soaked in
diluted vinegar.
