Cleaning the print head is recommended at each ribbon change or more often if streaks appear on the printed media or if ribbon damage occurs during printing operations.
MG2-CKP 991670 cleaning kit comprises:
– Spray cleaning fluid
– MG2-CKP template fitted with adhesive cleaning pad
Instructions:
– Ensure the carriage is withdrawn, remove the printing template and ribbon from the machine and close the MARKINGenius program.
– Switch printer OFF.
– Switch printer ON and press the button (01) for less than 6 seconds until the YELLOW LED (2) starts blinking.
– Release the BLUE button. The YELLOW and ORANGE LEDs blink while the green LED remains lit and the carriage remains open. Printer is then in 'CLEANING MODE' .
– Remove the current printing template.
– Attach a new cleaning pad to the cleaning template and spray cleaning fluid across its full width.
Correctly locate the template on the carriage.
– Press the BLUE button to start the cleaning cycle.
– At the completion of the cleaning cycle the carriage will stay open and printer in 'Cleaning mode' should it be necessary to repeat the cleaning cycle.

To exit from 'Cleaning mode' , switch printer OFF, then ON again after a few seconds.
Remove the cleaning template, detach and discard the used cleaning pad then store the components of the cleaning kit in their original packaging in a dust free, dry
environment.
Do not re-use cleaning pads. Sets of 5 spare pads are available, order MG2-CNP 992150.
WARNING: Insert nothing else into the printer otherwise the print head may be irrevocably damaged.

Le nettoyage de la tête est recommandé à chaque changement de ruban d'encre, et plus si des défauts de marquage apparaissent sur les étiquettes ou si le ruban est en-
dommagé en cours d'impression.
Le kit MG2-CKP 991670 comprend:
– Un spray de liquide de nettoyage
– Le plateau MG2-CKP équipé d'un tampon adhésif de nettoyage
Instructions:
– Assurez-vous que le chariot soit sorti, retirer le plateau d'impression et le ruban d'encre de la machine et fermez le programme MARKINGenius.
– Éteindre l'imprimante.
– Allumer l'imprimante en maintenant enfoncé pour au moins 6 secondes le bouton (01) sur le panneau frontal de la machine jusqu'à ce que le voyant DEL jaune clignote
en 'MODE NETTOYAGE TÊTE' .
– Une fois le bouton BLEU relâché, les voyants DEL jaune et orange clignoteront et le voyant DEL vert demeurera allumé, le chariot d'alimentation demeurera ouvert.
– Appliquer le spray nettoyant sur le chiffon et monter le plateau qui se trouve dans le kit de nettoyage sur le chariot.
– Appuyer sur le bouton BLEU pour démarrer la procédure de nettoyage.
– Une fois terminé le processus de nettoyage, le chariot se fermera en position extraite et l'imprimante restera opérationnelle pour des cycles de nettoyage supplémentaires.
– Pour quitter la procédure de nettoyage, éteindre puis redémarrer l'imprimante
Ne pas réutiliser le tampon de nettoyage. Les chiffons de rechange MG2-CNP 992150 (set de 5 pièces) pour le kit de nettoyage sont disponibles sur demande.
ATTENTION: pour le nettoyage de la tête d'impression, on ne doit absolument pas utiliser des outils métalliques ou saillants qui pourraient causer d'irréparables
dommages à ladite tête.
