BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Check that no accessories are missing and that
the appliance is not damaged. Pour water into
the tank up to the maximum level, then run
several brewing cycles with water only, do not
add the ground coffee. Then discard the water.
Carefully clean all the detachable parts with hot
water.

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER

1. Open the lid of the water tank and fill it with
cold drinking water. The water level must not
exceed the MAX level indicated on the tank.
2. Swivel the filter holder to the outside and
place the filter into the filter holder, ensuring
it is correctly positioned.
3. Add the appropriate amount of ground
coffee to the filter. In general, a level spoon
of ground coffee is appropriate for each cup
of coffee, but you can change this quantity
depending on your preferences. Then close
the filter holder.
4. Place the coffee pot horizontally onto the hot
plate.
5. Plug the power cable into a mains socket.
The screen displays "12:00" and the two
points flash, but no indicator lights/buttons
are illuminated.
6. Press the Standby button and the red
indicator light will illuminate. The appliance
will start.
