3. MANDATORY TESTING
Using a 113kg weight attached to the trolley, test the brake to see if it is working properly. Run and pull the
weight attached to the trolley down to where it engages the brake Block, it should slow the trolley and weight
down gradually and to a complete stop BEFORE it reaches the finish point.
If it reaches the finish point, simply move the anchor bag back up and parallel to the course, until the brake blocks
stops prior to reaching the finish point.
4. MANDATORY MAINTENANCE
Before every use, inspect your brake system very carefully.

Inspect the entire line for fraying. If found, replace line.
• Check brake block for cracking or chipping. If found, replace block.

Check bag handles and cavity for tearing. If found, replace bag.

MANDATORY! Due to weather and UV exposure, product has a maximum 2 years life. Bring in all zipline
product when temperatures fall below 0 degrees C.
To avoid unnecessary weathering/UV exposure, take your brake line and zipline down and store inside (especially
during winter months).
Activities involving the installation and use of ziplines and brake systems are inherently hazardous by
their nature. Poor installation, poor maintenance, inadequate rider instruction, poor adult supervision
or improper use can cause severe injury or death.
The buyer, installer and user of slackers™ Zipline and Bungeez Brake must:
1. Read, understand and follow the installation instructions, warnings and safety rules
2. Ensure proper oversight, supervision and instruction of others on the safe use and operations of
the zipline and braking system.
3. Ensure that that all equipment is properly installed, used, inspected and maintained before each
use.
4. Before each use, check to see that obstructions and hazards are removed from the zipline path and
braking zone and that all non-users are at a safe distance.
5. Use common sense and avoid taking risks.
The buyer, installer and user of this product assume all risk and accept all responsibility for any
damage or injury, including death, that may arise from the use of the slackers™ Zipline and
Bungeez Brake.
WARNING
system is designed to provide a gradual reduction in
rider speed. It is intended as a back-up brake and not
as a substitute for a properly set-up zipline, which has
the rider SLOWING DOWN at the end of the course
BEFORE they engage the brake system. A steep zipline
course or one that has too much line tension will create
a dangerous, high speed course that could cause
serious injury or death.
