Intended Use
This wireless plug-in dimmer switch is intended for turning connected on or off consumer loads, either
manually, via a push button on the device, or via a suitable remote switch. Furthermore, the wireless plug-in
dimmer switch or the consumer connected to it (lamp) can also be dimmed with a suitable wireless transmit-
ter (e.g. wireless hand-held transmitter).
The wireless plug-in dimmer switch and the wireless remote control are only intended for use in dry indoor
locations.
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These instructions not
only protect the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire operating manual before using
the product.
This product complies with the applicable National and European requirements. All names of companies and
products are the trademarks of the respective owner.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions. We do not assume any liability for any consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper
handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty will be void in
such cases.
• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modifi cation of this product is not permitted
because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the product emits only
relatively weak radio signals, these may lead to the malfunction of life-support systems. The
same may possibly be the case in other areas.
• The wireless plug-in dimmer is designed in accordance with protection class I. Only a stan-
dard mains socket (230V~/50Hz with protective earth) for the public supply grid may be used
as the power source for the wireless plug-in dimmer switch.
• The handheld transmitter is powered by a 12V battery (type "23A").
• The wireless plug-in dimmer switch is not suitable for connection to inductive consumers.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore, be especially
careful when children are around. Children might try to push objects through the socket ope-
nings, for example. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• The wireless remote control and the wireless plug-in dimmer switch are only intended for use
in dry indoor locations.
• Never touch the product and the mains plug, when it is plugged into the mains socket, with wet
or damp hands when trying to connect to the wireless plug-in dimmer switch. There is a risk of
a lethal electric shock!
• Never remove a mains plug from the wireless plug-in dimmer switch by pulling on the power
cable. Always pull the plug from the socket, in the wireless plug-in dimmer switch, using the
gripping surface provided on the side.
• Do not put more than one adaptor onto the unit!
• The unit is only without current, when the main plug is disconnected from the outlet.
• Do not overload the wireless plug-in dimmer switch (take note of the input power in the tech-
nical data at the end of the operating manual!).
• The mains socket to which you connect the device must be easily accessible.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even
from a low height.
• If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more! When it is connected to
the mains, do not touch the wireless plug-in dimmer switch or the connected device! First
of all, disconnect all pins of the mains socket, to which the radio-controlled socket dimmer
is connected (disable the associated Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) and Residual Current
Operated Circuit Breaker (RCCB)). You can then remove the wireless plug-in dimmer switch
from the mains socket. Take the product to a specialist workshop or dispose of it in an envi-
ronmentally friendly way.
Battery notes
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by children or
domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective
gloves.
• Make sure that the battery is neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fi re. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable batteries that are

intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If it is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the battery. Old batteries may leak and cause
damage to the product, which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee.

"Disposal".
Controls

Inserting/replacing the batteries
Open the battery compartment on the back of the handheld radio transmitter and insert a 12V-battery (type
"23A") with the correct polarity (pay attention to the diagram in the battery compartment). Close the battery
compartment.
The batteries need to be replaced if the range of the handheld radio transmitter is signifi cantly reduced or the
control LED (5) no longer lights when the buttons are used.
Programming the wireless plug-in dimmer switch to recognise a wireless
transmitter
• Set the switching group on the remote control, i.e. the one to which the wireless plug-in dimmer switch is
to be programmed, using the "Selector switch for switching group" (2) .
• Plug the wireless plug-in dimmer switch into a standard 230 V/AC 50 Hz household socket. The LED "ON/
OFF/INDICATOR" (6) starts to blink.
• Press the ON button for the desired switching channel on the radio transmitter, i.e that to which you want
to program the wireless plug-in dimmer switch before the "ON/OFF/INDICATOR" LED (6) stops blinking.
The red "ON/OFF/INDICATOR" LED (6) is on. The programming has been completed successfully.
Programming the wireless plug-in dimmer switch socket to recognise several
radio transmitters
• Set the switching group on the remote control, i.e. the one to which the wireless plug-in dimmer switch is
to be programmed, using the "Selector switch for switching group" (2) .
• Plug the wireless plug-in dimmer switch into a standard 230 V/AC 50 Hz household socket and press the
button "ON/OFF/INDICATOR" (6) until the LED starts to fl ash red.
• Press the ON button for the desired switching channel on the radio transmitter, i.e that to which you want
to program the wireless plug-in dimmer switch before the "ON/OFF/INDICATOR" LED (6) stops blinking.
The LED is on. The programming has been completed successfully.
A total of 16 radio receivers (e. g. radio controlled sockets can be connected). The 16 radio receivers are
categorised into 4 switching groups; switching groups: 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 as well as switching group 13-16.
Pressing this button activates all recognized receivers.
Pressing this button deactivates all recognized receivers.
By using this button, the radio controlled socket can be activated or deactivated manually. This button
also serves as the programming button.
A total of 4 receivers can be programmed for each switching group.
Up to 10 radio channels can be programmed for the wireless plug-in dimmer switch.
A total of 4 receivers can be programmed for each switching group.
