CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning or maintenance of the appliance always pull the power plug out of the power socket
or cigarette lighter!
Wipe the inside/outside areas of the travel cooler with a sponge lightly dipped in a weak solution of
kitchen detergent. Following this wipe the inside/outside area using a sponge dipped in clean water and
wipe dry. Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaning powders. Never clean the travel cooler under running
water, do not rinse and do not submerge in water!

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The travel cooler doesn't work.
The travel cooler doesn't cool (it
is connected, the LED is on).
The travel cooler doesn't heat (it
is connected, the LED is on).
Connecting to the 12 V power
socket (cigarette lighter):
The travel cooler is receiving
power, but is not working. Pull
out the power plug from the
power socket and carry out the
following steps.
Possible cause
The is no power in the 12
V power socket (cigarette
lighter).
There is no electrical power in
the power socket where the
travel cooler is plugged in.
The internal ventilator or
travel cooler are damaged.
The internal ventilator or the
cooling element are defective.
The cigarette lighter is dirtied
by ash from cigarettes, which
is the cause of the bad power
supply.
The 12 V fuse of the power
plug is burned out.
The fuse of the vehicle is
burned out.
Solution
I most types of vehicles the
ignition must be turned on for the
cigarette lighter to be powered
with electrical power.
Try connecting the travel cooler to
a different power socket.
This defect must be remedied by
an authorised service centre.
This defect can only be remedied
by an authorised service centre.
If the 12 V power plug of the
travel cooler in the power socket
of the cigarette lighter overheats,
either the cigarette lighter socket
needs to be cleaned, or the 12
V power plug was not installed
correctly.
Change the fuse (5A)
in the 12 V power plug.
Change the vehicle's power
socket fuse (usually 15 V). (Please
follow the instructions in your
vehicle's user's manual.)
