The fire helmets are available in two versions in sizes H1 and
H2. All fire helmets come standard with a front cover and face
shield. The following accessories are also available:
Helmet Lamp HPS 7000
The HPS 7000 helmet lamp is mounted with the
corresponding mounting plate instead of the front cover.
External lamp
The lamp is mounted on the side of the helmet. The
associated lamp holder may be locked in different positions.
Visor
The fire helmet is always equipped with a face shield. The
face shield is lockable in three positions. Full protection is
achieved only when the face shield is locked in the lowest
position.
Additionally, an eye shield or goggles can be mounted.
CSA fastener
If the fire helmet is worn in a chemical protective suit, the CSA
fastener may be used. It prevents slippage of the face shield.
COM adapter
A communication module (e. g. Dräger HC-COM) may be
inserted in the COM adapter.
Holmco adapter
A HL-09 (SCORPION) headset can be inserted into the
Holmco adapter.
Padding strips
Size H1 fire helmets are designed for head sizes from
50 cm to 60 cm. Padding strips are available for head sizes
from 50 to 52 cm, which is inserted additionally between
support ring and sweatband.
Neck guard
The neck guards are available in different designs. The
universal neck guard size is suitable for both helmet sizes.
Comfort Pad
The Comfort Pad can be used instead of a comfort net. It
acts as a heat shield if no flame protection hood is being
worn under the helmet.

Intended use

The fire helmets of the series HPS 7000 are intended for the
following applications:
Fire fighting
Rescue and recovery work
Work in conjunction with traffic accidents
All other work associated with a fire brigade
The fire helmets protect the head and face from the following:
Impacts
Sharp objects
Impact of solid objects
Contact with liquids, corrosive chemicals and molten metals
Radiant heat
Flames
Contact with electricity
Face shield, eye shield, and goggles are provided exclusively
for use with the fire helmets.

Approvals

The fire helmets are approved in accordance with:
DIN EN 443:2008
2014/90/EU
Solas, FSS Code
CA 32.878 (Brazil)

In conjunction with the masks of the series FPS 7000 S-fix/
Q-fix and Panorama Nova S, they are also approved, in
accordance with DIN 58610, as mask/helmet combination.
The goggles (R79166, R79270) meet the requirements of
EN 166:2002. They do not meet the requirements of
EN 14458:2004. For this reason, the fire helmet may only be
used with a face shield or full face mask during fire fighting. All
other visors are approved according to DIN EN 14458:2004.
The fire helmets are to be used only with accessories that are
specifically designed for use with these fire helmets. If
accessories not intended for use with this helmet or additional
personal protective equipment is worn, it is possible that the
helmet no longer fully conforms to DIN EN 443.
