V. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
* Before cleaning your appliance, always pull out the plug from the socket and
wait for it to cool down if your appliance is hot.
* Clean the heater plates after each use to protect the cooking surfaces
covered with non-stick materials.
* Remove the heater plates.
* Wash the heater plates with soap, detergent, etc. in warm water.
* When washing the heater plates, never clean them with a wire wool, sharp or
pointed object or stove cleaning sprays so that the heater plates will not be
damaged or will not lose their functions.
* NEVER insert your appliance into water or any other liquid.
* You can wipe the outer surface of your appliance with a soft damp cloth.
NEVER use harsh and abrasive cleaning agents.
Energy Saving Information:
In order to ensure that the appliance does not consume too much energy;
* Before using your appliance, check that the power and voltage of the
appliance are suitable for your mains.
* Your appliance should be used at room temperature. Using your appliance in
open areas causes excessive energy consumption.
* Temperature settings of the appliance should be made according to the food
you will cook.
* Damaged grills to be replaced by authorized service center with the original
one. (Granite or teflon grills scratched due to misuse are not covered by the
warranty, they will require extra charge)
* It is recommended that the upper part of the grill should not be kept open for
too long in order to avoid heat loss.
* The plug must be seated firmly in the socket.
* It is necessary to remove the plug from the socket after the use of the
appliance is finished.
Transportation and Shipment:
1) We recommend that you transport the appliance in its original box. If you
do not have the original box, transport your appliance by wrapping it in a soft
cloth. Take precautions against the impacts that may occur on the surfaces.
Plastic parts may break during improper packaging, electrical parts may be
damaged.
2) Do not place any load heavier that its own weight, on the appliance.
3) Keep the product in its normal position during transportation.
NOTE: User's manual, box and Styrofoam, if any, are the parts of your
appliance so do not throw them away.
NOTE: Warranty does not cover defects or damages during loading,
unloading and transportation after delivery of the product to the customer.
