RADIO IDENTIFICATION BADGE FOR

1. INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
• Do not allow children to operate the product.
• Do not place the badge near sources of radiation or those
which are highly magnetic such as microwave ovens or
large speakers, etc.
• This product is compatible with the Avidsen colour video
intercom reference 112249 and with Thomson colour
video intercoms reference 512260 and 512262. This
product is designed exclusively for unlocking controlled
access (user badge). It cannot replace confi guration or
administration badges.

Refer to your colour video intercom's instructions
for the programming procedure for the RFID badge.
3. CHARACTERISTICS
• Operating frequency: 125kHz
• Power: delivered by the colour video intercom panel when
the badge is read
• Operating temperature: -30°C to +70°C
• Lifespan: 10 years minimum

4. WARRANTY

This product is guaranteed for 2 years, parts and labour, from
the date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be retained
for the duration of this warranty period. The warranty does
not cover the battery, nor does it cover damage caused as a
result of negligence, impacts or accidents. The parts of this
product must not be repaired or changed by any persons
not employed by AVIDSEN. Tampering with the device will
void the warranty.
Avidsen undertakes to keep a stock of spare parts for this
product throughout the warranty period.
5. RECYCLING
This logo indicates that devices which are no
longer in use must not be disposed of as
household waste. They are likely to contain
hazardous substances which are dangerous to
both health and the environment. Return the
equipment to your local distributor or use the
recycling collection service provided by your local council.

6. ASSISTANCE AND ADVICE
• If, in spite of the care we have taken in designing
our products and drafting these instructions, you do
encounter diffi culties when installing your product or you
have any questions, we recommend you contact one of
our specialists who will be glad to help.
• If you encounter operating problems during the installation
or a few days afterwards, it is essential that you are in front
of your installation when contacting us, so that one of our
technicians can diagnose the source of the problem, as it
will probably be the result of a setting that is incorrect or
an installation that is not to specifi cation. If the problem is
caused by the product itself, the technician will give you
an RMA number so that you can return the unit to the
shop.
Without this RMA number, the shop may refuse to
exchange your product.
