Installation on Windows XP:
After inserting the card, the new hardware
wizard will appear. Select the option "Install
software from a list or particular source (for
advanced users)".

stion "Which action do you want Windows to
perform?", choose the option "Do not carry out
any action" and click on

"Browse following source:" and enter "D:\"(whe-
reby D: represents the initial of your disc drive
and must be changed if necessary).

the window "Software for following appliance
not found" appears, click
Back
and check
you have entered the details correctly. Should
you now receive the message "The software
which has been installed for this hardware, has
not passed the Windows logo test which checks
compatibility with Windows XP." click on "Con-
tinue installation". The necessary files are now
copied from the CD fi Finish
Important instructions for Windows XP:
You can check whether controller has been
installed successfully by selecting Start

Installation on Windows 2000:
After inserting the card, the new hardware

ce (recommended)" and insert enclosed CD.

on". Enter the location "D:\" into the next dia-
logue box, whereby D: indicates the initial of your
CD drive and must be replaced if necessary.

If a window saying "Software
for device not found" appears, click
and check you have entered the details correctly.
Should you now receive a message saying Win-
dows cannot locate a digital signature, click

the necessary files are now copied from
the CD. Click
Ready.

After you have inserted the card, the message
"New Hardware Found" appears. The controller
is identified as a "PCI mass storage controller"
The hardware assistant then opens and sear-
ches for new drivers for the controller. Place
enclosed driver CD into CD drive. After the mes-
sage "What do you want Windows to do?", sel-
ect
"Specify location of driver (advanced)"
and then click
Continue. Select "Specify a
location" and enter "D:\", whereby D: indicates
the initial of your CD drive and must be changed
if necessary.
OK
Continue
saying "Software for device not found" appears,

Back
and check you have entered
details correctly.
