Bei den Modellen 3410PL und 3410PLM handelt es sich um eine kompakte Lampe/Arbe-
itsleuchte mit einem beweglichen Kopf für zahlreiche Anwendungsgebiete.
Die jeweiligen Lampenmodelle enthalten 2 LEDs (Punkt- und Flutlicht), die Arbeiten in
unmittelbarer Nähe, sowie die Beleuchtung auf Entfernungen unterstützen. Der
integrierte Clip (3410PL) und Clip mit Magnet (3410PLM) ermöglichen eine handfreie
Verwendung.
Einlegen/Tauschen der Batterien
1. Prüfen Sie, ob die Endkappe auf der entriegelten Position steht.
2. Drehen Sie die Endkappe nach links bis zum Anschlag und ziehen die Endkappe
vom Gehäuse ab.
3. Entfernen und entsorgen Sie den Batterieeinsatz.
4. Legen Sie drei AA-Batterien in der angezeigten Richtung ein.
4. Setzen Sie die Endkappe wieder auf und drehen diese nach rechts, bis sie mit dem
Gehäuse abschließt.
Drehen Sie die Endkappe für zusätzliche Sicherheit auf die
Verriegelungsposition mit der Schlaufenbefestigung.
5. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang für den Batteriewechsel.
Bedienung
LICHTSTÄRKEN: Hoch, Mittel, Niedrig
Hoch: Einmal drücken.
Mittel: Zweimal drücken (innerhalb von 0,5 Sekunden).
Niedrig: Dreimal drücken (innerhalb einer Sekunde)
BEDIENUNGSMODI:
Punkt- und Flutlicht, nur Flutlicht, nur Punktlicht
Drücken und halten Sie den Schalter aus jeder Betriebsposition heraus gedrückt, um
zwischen Punktlicht und Flutlicht, nur Flutlicht und nur Punktlicht umzuschalten. Lassen
Sie den Schalter los, sobald Sie den gewünschten Modus erreicht haben.
Aus: Drücken Sie auf jeder Betriebsposition heraus einmal und lassen Sie wieder los.
Allgemeine Pflege und Wartung
1. Reinigen Sie den O-Ring mit einem weichen, sauberen Tuch, um sicherzustellen,
dass der Dichtungsbereich frei von Schmutz ist, der andernfalls die O-Ring-Dichtung
beschädigen könnte.
2. Tragen Sie gelegentlich eine dünne Schicht lebensmittelgeeignetes
Silikon-Schmiermittel auf den O-Ring auf.
3. Setzen Sie bei Bedarf neue Batterien ein.
4. Mischen Sie keine alten und neuen Batterien.
VORSICHT
Damit die Lampe 3410PL während der Lagerung nicht versehentlich eingeschaltet wird,
entfernen Sie die Batterien. Wenn die Lampe 3410PL eingeschaltet wird, während sie
in einem Behälter aufbewahrt wird, kann die Taschenlampe überhitzen und die Lampe
selbst oder das Material in unmittelbarer Umgebung können beschädigt werden.
WARTUNG DES O-RINGS
Achten Sie sorgfältig auf Schnitte, Kratzer oder anderweitige Beschädigungen des O-Rings
oder der angrenzenden Lippendichtung der Linse. Entfernen Sie Schmutz und Fremd-
partikel von den Dichtungsflächen des O-Rings. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Gewinde, die
O-Ring-Nut und die innere Lippe der Linse mit Silikonschmierstoff geschmiert sind.
Sicherheitsmerkblatt für Batterien
Alkaline-Batterien
1. Ex-Schutz-Sicherheitszulassungen für explosionsgefährdete Bereiche sind nur für
den Hersteller des angegebenen Batterietyps und gegebenenfalls für Markennamen
gültig, die auf der Taschenlampe und/oder in den Anleitungen, die mit der Lampe
geliefert werden, abgebildet sind.
2. Die Verwendung anderer Batterietechnologien kann die Leistung der Lampe mindern.
Lesen Sie stets die Empfehlungen des Batterieherstellers für die geeignete Verwendung
der Batterietechnologie/Marke, bevor Sie diese in der Lampe verwenden.
3. Beim Austausch der Batterien:
a. Ersetzen Sie stets alle Batterien gleichzeitig.
b. Mischen Sie keine Batterien verschiedener Marken oder alte und neue
Batterien.
c. Setzen Sie die Batterien stets korrekt unter Beachtung der Polarität (+
und -), wie auf der Batterie und dem Batteriefach angegeben, ein.
4. Laden Sie Batterien nicht in Gefahrenzonen.
5. Nehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät, wenn Sie dieses über einen längeren
Zeitraum nicht verwenden.

Operating Instructions
The 3410PL and 3410PLM is a compact torch / work light with an articulating head providing
multiple uses. It contains dual LEDs (spot and flood) that supports both close up applications as
well as distant illumination. The built in clip (3410PL) and clip w/ magnet (3410PLM) allows for
hands free use.
Battery Installation / Replacement
1. Ensure that the tail cap lock is set in the 'Unlock' position.
2. Twist the tail cap counter-clockwise until it stops and pull the tail cap away from the body.
3. Remove and discard the battery insert.
4. Insert 3 AA batteries in the direction indicated.
4. Replace tail cap, turn clockwise until it aligns with the body.
For added security, turn the tail cap lock to the 'Lock' position with the lanyard attachment.
5. Replicate process for battery replacement.
To Operate
LIGHT OUTPUT LEVELS: High, Medium, Low
High: Press once.
Medium: Press twice (within 0.5 second).
Low: Press three times (within 1 second)
OPERATION MODES:
Spot and Flood, Flood Only, Spot Only
From any operating position, press and hold the switch to toggle between the Spot and Flood,
Flood Only and Spot only mode options. Release the switch once you reach the desired mode.
Off: From any operating position, press and release once.
General Care and Maintenance
1. Clean o-ring with a soft clean cloth to ensure the sealing area is free
of dirt that may damage the o-ring seal.
2. Occasionally apply a light coat of food grade silicone grease to the o-ring.
3. Maintain fresh batteries as needed.
4. Do not mix old and new batteries.
CAUTION
To prevent the 3410PL torch coming on accidentally when the torch is stored,
remove the batteries. If the 3410PL torch is turned on while it is in a container, the
torch can overheat and damage the torch or the material of the surrounding area.
O-RING MAINTENANCE
Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged o-ring or mating lens lip surface.
Remove any dirt or foreign matter from o-ring sealing surfaces. Keep threads, o-ring groove
and inside lip of lens lubricated with silicone grease.
Battery Safety Bulletin
Alkaline Batteries
1. Hazardous location safety approvals for explosive environments are only valid for the specified
cell type manufacturer and, where applicable, brand names that are displayed on the torch
and/or instructions sheets that are supplied with the torch.
2. The use of other battery technologies may reduce the performance ofthe torch.
Always read the battery manufacturers recommendations for the appropriate use of the battery
technology/brand prior to using them in the torch.
3. When replacing the batteries:
a. Replace all the batteries at the same time.
b. Do not mix battery brands and old and new batteries.
c. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -) marked on the
battery and equipment.
4. Do not change batteries in a hazardous location.
5. Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an extended period of time
