4. Now place the fruits or vegetables you want to chop in the container (2).
Large items such as onions or carrots should be cut into halves or quar-
ters before they are placed in the container (2) so that they do not block
the blades of the cutting rotor (7).
5. Now place the lid (5) on the container (2). Make sure that the hexagon
on the cutting rotor (7) fits into the recess in the lid (5).
6. The finecut fruit and vegetable cutter is now ready to use. Place one hand
on top of the finecut fruit and vegetable cutter and hold the appliance
down on the working surface. Then use the other hand to grip the pull
mechanism on the lid (5).
7. The first pulling motion needs to be quite vigorous and rapid. Rotate the
handle of the pull mechanism (5) by 90 degrees so you can pull more
effectively.
8. Do not let go of the pull mechanism once it is fully extended; maintain your
grip while the pull mechanism automatically retracts.
If the blades of the cutting rotor (7) become blocked, carefully remove the
food and cut it up some more before putting it back in the container (2).
Again, the blades of the cutting rotor (7) should be above one another so
you can make full use of the container (2).
