Anwendung
Automatischer, punktförmiger Rauch- bzw. Wärmemelder ohne
Leitungstrenner zum Anschluss an die esserbus
PLus Ringleitung der ESSER-Brandmelderzentralen
oder
in Feststellanlagen (FSA) wird der Brandmelder über den FSA-
esserbus ® -Koppler (808619.10) im Stand-alone-Betrieb eingesetzt.
Diese Brandmelder (außer 803171) sind Bestandteil der DIBt-
Systemzulassungen. Weitere Informationen siehe Dokumentation
798840.
Falschalarmquellen für Rauchmelder
Aerosole mit sichtbaren Partikeln, wie z.B. durch Verbrennungsmaschinen,
Zigarettenrauch, Wasserdampf oder Staubablagerungen.
Falschalarmquellen für Thermomelder
Schneller, heftiger Anstieg der Umgebungstemperatur, Klima-/
Umluftanlagen.
Montage / Meldersockel
Die Brandmelder direkt in den zugehörigen Meldersockel einsetzen.

Inbetriebnahme / Wartung
Die Inbetriebnahme und Wartung der Brandmelder hat nur durch
qualifiziertes und im Umgang mit dem Brandmeldesystem
zertifiziertes Fachpersonal sowie den entsprechenden gültigen
Normen und Richtlinien bzw. Instandhaltungsvorgaben zu erfolgen.
Arbeiten, die eine erneute Überprüfung gem. EN 54 erfordern,
müssen ausschließlich durch ESSER ausgeführt werden.
Unzulässige Arbeiten (insb. Öffnen, Reinigen und Lackieren) an
den Brandmeldern sind verboten und führen u.a. zum Verlust der
Gewährleistungsansprüche sowie der EN 54-Zulassung. Diese
Brandmelder dürfen dann in Brandmeldeanlagen nicht mehr
verwendet werden.
Alle Funktionen und der Zustand des Brandmelders werden zyklisch
melderintern geprüft und eine erforderliche Wartung automatisch
angefordert. Während des Prüfbetriebs des Systems werden die
Daten zur BMZ übertragen und dort im Störungsfall angezeigt.

False alarm sources for photoelectric smoke detectors
Visible airborne particles or vapor, e.g. combustion engine exhausts,
cigarette smoke, steam or dust deposits.
Possible causes for false alarms from heat detectors
Rapid, substantial increases in ambient temperature, air
conditioning and ventilation systems.

Configuration / Maintenance
Commissioning and maintenance of the fire detector may only be
performed by qualified staff who are certified to work with fire alarm
systems, and must be carried out in accordance with the applicable
standards and directives as well as the maintenance instructions
provided.
Tasks requiring renewed testing according to EN 54 must be
performed exclusively by ESSER.
Unauthorised actions (in particular opening, cleaning and painting) on
the fire detectors are prohibited and will result in the loss of warranty
coverage and EN 54 certification. Any fire detectors concerned can
then no longer be used in fire alarm systems.
All detector functions and device status are checked at regular
intervals by the integrated diagnostics and provide an automatic
maintenance. The results are transferred to the FACP and any
errors are displayed there when the System is in test mode.
