Moving with the load
As the trolley lift, PRAKTIKUS is not equipped with a brake it must not be used on upward or downward slopes.
As far as floor/ground, clearance permits, the load should be transported across the floor/ground at as low a
height as possible (max. 200 mm).
Move at a uniform speed appropriate to the load and floor/ground conditions.
Movement of the trolley lift only in lowered fork position.
Roller Brake
A brake is mounted on the steering rollers of the scissors lift truck.
Be sure that the brake is applied and locked when you stop the lift truck.
Inspection and maintenance instructions
Safety warning
Before inspection and maintenance work is carried out, appropriate measures should be
taken to remove all loads from the trolley lift PRAKTIKUS.
Maintenance and inspection work
Check operating elements for faultless operation.
Check condition of the travelling rollers and roller axles
Check the firmness of the supply and the tension of the chain, if necessary grease
Grease joints and bearings
Check functioning of wheels and rollers
Check hydraulic system for leakage (Is the top lifting height reached effortlessly.)
Check the set-up of the control lever and the drain valve
Check all screw and bolt connections for tightness

Check functioning and turning capability of wheels and rollers
Check the set-up of the control lever
Check all parts of the trolley lift PRAKTIKUS for wear and replace defective parts where
necessary
Check readability of type plate.

The service life of your trolley lift PRAKTIKUS is limited. Worn parts must be renewed
in good time.

Hydraulic System

Before using the trolley lift PRAKTIKUS the first time, the locking screw
be replaced with the loose supplied ventilating screw.
Do not run the hydraulic pump without oil!
For oil changing, suck the oil out of the oil tank.
Ventilate the hydraulic system after oil change or on demand.
Ventilation may only be effected in unloaded state.
Adjustment of the Lifting Chain
Adjust the chain length by tightening the tension nut
ened when the load is in lowest position.
After adjustment fix nuts
At regular interval, check the lifting chains for fractures, scores, and marks of wear.
The permissible elongation must not exceed 3%.
Replace damaged chains or those elongated by more than 3%.
