Important information
1. If the yellow LED - first switching threshold
- lights up when the device is switched on
in fresh air, either the sensor is soiled or
the device has gone for a long period wit-
hout being used. This effect can be rectified
by switching the device on and off several
times or through a 15 minute settling time.
2. The device must not be recalibrated in this
case! Fluctuations in the ambient air have
no impact on the measuring process, the
zero point of the sensor tracks the air qua-
lity over time. The first switching threshold
indicates changes in the concentration of
the gas to be measured. For safety rea-
sons, the second switching threshold of
the device works statically, i.e. the red LED
lights up immediately if there is 1 Vol% gas
in the room.

Safety aspects!

Precise knowledge of and compliance with
the operating manual is required when ope-
rating the device. The leak indicator may
only be used for the purpose described.
The leak indicator is calibrated for natural
gas or liquefied petroleum gas. Other flam-
mable gases are also indicated, but deviate
from the calibration data. Do not subject the
gas warning unit to extreme temperature
fluctuations. When stored in temperatures
below 0°C, the device should be switched on
10 min before the start of work.

The leak indicator is not explosion protected
and therefore may not be used in explosi-
ve atmospheres. The sensor should not be
exposed to silicone or silicone vapours, as
this will destroy it. Function tests involving
direct application of lighter gas also destroy
the sensor.
1. After extended storage periods, the de-
vice should be switched on and off several
times to clean the sensor of deposits.
2. If the device is used for a purpose other
than the intended use or if repair work is
carried out incorrectly, the owner or ope-
rator is always responsible for the func-
tion of the device.
